I have now moved into the dining room to repair a hole in the ceiling from the chandelier being moved. I cut a piece of drywall to fit the hole exactly, screwed it in place and patched it with joint compound to get the ceiling ready for painting. A little sanding and it will be ready for paint.

Foxboro Paint Job: All trim has been re-caulked and re-painted in the living room with Benjamin Moore Regal Semi-Gloss (333).
The best semi-gloss on the market in my opinion. The semi-gloss used before was the paint and primer stuff. The paint we used is just a straight semi-gloss. Far superior to the paint and primer product.

Starting an interior re-painting job in Foxboro painting walls, ceilings, windows, trim and doors. 5 rooms total. We will first start off with the preparation of the room to be painted, covering all furniture with clean plastic sheeting and the floor with clean drop cloths.
Then remove all pictures, switch and plug plates off the walls to start wall sanding and patching.
After that is done, we will re-caulk all trim. (baseboards, windows, jambs) The caulking will set for 1 day before painting to give a good firm foundation for painting over.

Going to Home Depot
Today I went to home depot to get some vinyl concrete patcher to fix some of the cracks and other imperfections on the concrete pool deck that Jcb Painting is repairing and painting.
Great product for patching concrete.
Some of the repairs to be done.
Priming the concrete pool deck
So after letting the primer test spot dry hard for 24 hours, it is as solid as a rock. Jcb Painting proceeded to prime the whole deck and thankfully it didn't rain! The image shows 1 coat and another will be applied after concrete repair work is done.

To much rain!
With all the rain we have had this week it has put a damper on the pool project. We do have half the pool deck power washed and the cover has been removed.
It looks like we might get a break in the rain this coming week so hopefully, we will be able to proceed with the rest of the power washing.
After power washing, we will proceed with the concrete repair and then on to the priming of the pool deck to get ready for the final finish coats. Stay tuned.

Images of lichen covered fence after power washing.
Jcb Painting
So here is the fence that was covered in lichen and mold after power washing.
Looks like a brand new fence.
It's amazing what a little water can do.
